Linda teaches beginners to advanced open flamenco classes at Norscot Manor Recreational Centre in Johannesburg.
She started her dance training at the age of six with Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance) and Spanish dancing at the age of eight.
Linda joined the Jose Montoya Spanish Dance Company in Pretoria and was made a principal dancer after two years. She has performed at the State Theatre, Klein Theatre, People’s Theatre, Sun City and has also performed regularly at the Viva España Restaurant in Midrand.
While establishing and running the first Spanish and Flamenco dance studio in Lenasia, Pretoria she attended various courses with teachers brought out from Spain such as Inmaculada Ortega and La Tati.
Linda lived and danced in Spain and studied with Martin Vargas and Joana Alvarez. After returning from Spain she taught professional Flamenco classes on a regular basis at Spanish dance studios in Pretoria.
Linda was one of the first dancers to join SoloFLAMENCO’s company under the artistic direction of Antonio del Castillo and performed in the productions Agony & Ecstasy, Gitano, Misa Flamenca and España ’99.
serena - sensory development

This programme complements her Honours degree studies in Psychology, whilst being a freelance researcher for a health documentary series for Sonneblom in 2009 and for kykNET’s series ‘n Lewe Met in 2010 and 2011 with producers Katinka Heyns and Andre Scholtz.
Serena started her flamenco studies at Flamenco Fusion’s academy at the age of 14 under La Tanya, after close to ten years of studying ballet, modern and jazz.
Serena immediately captured the emotional spontaneity required for flamenco and was invited to join Flamenco Fusion’s company under the artistic management of Antonio del Castillo for its production ‘Percussion’ which toured for close on two years.
She has taught at Flamenco Fusion’s Johannesburg Academy during 2009-2010 and often visits the Cape Town studios to help with company and youth company rehearsals
