DESCRIPTION:For my workshop\, I will be teaching a short open-level danza estilizada choreography. Danza estilizada is a free combination of steps based on folk (regional)\, flamenco\, classical and escuela bolera techniques\, accompanied by basic castanet rhythms. We will focus on the use of castanets\, arm movements\, synchronicity\, and the quality of the movement to express emotion. This dance style embraces the feminine essence with its sinuous and coquettish style.
